How to cook a string soup

With dried vegetables and dried Felor banoo vegetables

Ingredients (for 4 to 6 people):

  • String soup: 200 grams (you can increase or decrease the amount depending on your taste)
  • Dried Felor banoo vegetables: 100 grams (you can increase or decrease the amount depending on your taste)
  • Legumes: 1 cup (chickpeas, pinto beans, and lentils)
  • Dried Felor banoo onions: 2 tablespoons (to make instant hot onions – instructions for making hot onions with dried onions are provided at the end of the article)
  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt, pepper, and turmeric: as needed
  • Tomato powder: 2 tablespoons (optional)
  • Dried mint: as desired for the taste and aroma of the soup
  • Oil: as needed
  • Water: 6-7 cups

Preparation:

Preparing the beans: Soak the beans the night before. Then cook them with fresh water until soft.

Preparing the base of the soup: In a large pot, pour a little oil and fry the dried Felor banoo onion until its flavor is released. Then add the Felor banoo tomato powder and fry until its color changes slightly. Next, add the Felor banoo garlic powder and Felor banoo turmeric and fry a little.

Cooking the soup:

– Add the cooked beans to the pot and add water to it.

– Let the water boil, then add the dried vegetables.

– Add salt and pepper to taste and let the soup cook on low heat.

– When the soup has settled and the vegetables and beans are fully cooked, add the noodles.

– Let the noodles cook for about 15-20 minutes (be careful not to crush the noodles).

Garnish and serve:

– In a small pan, pour a little oil and fry the dried onions and dried mint until they are crispy.

– Pour the soup into the desired dish and garnish with hot onions, hot mint, and curd.

Important notes:

  • For better taste, you can use beef knuckle bones or ribs in cooking the soup.
  • Felor banoo spices, due to their proper and fresh combination, give the soup a unique taste and aroma.
  • To glaze the soup, you can dissolve one to two tablespoons of flour in cold water and add to the soup after cooking the beans.

Ingredients:

  • Dried onions: ½ cup (about 50 grams)
  • Frying oil or cooking oil: 3 to 4 tablespoons
  • Salt: a little (if desired)
  • Turmeric felor banoo : a little

Instructions:

There are two ways to make hot onions with Felor banoo dried onions:

 Method 1:

You can fry the hot onions in oil in the same way as they are dry, but note that the dried onions fry quickly and it is recommended to add the oil first, then add a little turmeric to the oil and let the oil heat up a little, then add the dried onions and stir constantly until they turn golden brown and do not turn brown because they become bitter. You can add a little salt (optional) while adding the onions to the oil to make them crispier.

Keep the heat low throughout the process to ensure that the hot onions are delicious and colorful.

 Second method:

By the method of reviving dried Felor banoo onions

First method: Put the dried Felor banoo onions in a small bowl and add 1 cup of boiling water to it. Then give it 5 to 10 minutes for the onions to soften and absorb the water (like fresh onions). Next, put the onions in a colander to drain the excess water and press the onions slightly with your hand to remove the water (do not crush them too much).

Second method: Spray water on the dried onions or place them in a damp cloth and let them sit for a few minutes until the onions soften.

Frying the onions:

– In a non-stick pan, heat the oil over medium heat and add some turmeric to it and let the oil heat up.

– Add the drained onions and fry over medium heat.

– Stir constantly until the onions are golden and crispy (if they turn brown, the hot onions will be bitter).

– You can also add a little salt at the same time as adding the onion to make the hot onion crispier (optional)

Important tips:

 Low heat: It is important not to burn the dried onion and make it bitter.

 If you want to make hot onion without soaking it, you can fry the dried onion directly in oil, but it may become a little tough.

 For more flavor, you can also add a little garlic powder near the end of the process.

You can easily have delicious, golden, and crispy hot onion without the need for fresh onions with Flor Banu dried onions.
